e-Archeo is the first large-scale project which brings together research institutions, universities and academies, creative industries and experts in the field of Cultural Heritage in its different branches, sponsored by the Ministry of Culture (MiC) and coordinated by Ales SpA.

e-Archeo project is focused on creating an integrated multimedia platform, which collects some archaeological sites of national interest, presenting their story by using different digital communication formats.

Sirmione and Desenzano, Marzabotto, Cerveteri, Alba Fucens, Velia, Egnatia, Sibari, Nora: these are the 8 sites, from the north to the south of Italy, islands included, that have been selected as symbolic locations to tell the story of our country’s most outstanding beauties, thanks to Digital and Virtual Reality, with a special focus on Cultural Heritage accessibility, in terms of content and physical facilities.

e-Archeo.it brings together the work and digital experiences developed by all the project partners in just over a year of intense research and development. It presents the communication outputs to be used online and on site, as well as promotes its vision to the general public.
